I have over 35 years of experience in business management, HR and training. My career began in the licensed hospitality industry, where I held a variety of senior management roles before spending 13 years with a leading independent family business in Cornwall, including five years as Head of HR, reporting directly to the CEO. Supporting a workforce of more than 1,200 employees across retail, finance, brewing, warehousing and distribution gave me extensive experience in employment law and people management.

In 2019, I established Kernow HR with the aim of supporting local businesses by providing practical, commercially focused HR advice. Today, I work with employers across a wide range of sectors, helping them manage their people confidently, remain legally compliant and resolve workplace issues in a pragmatic and straightforward way.
